Description

Ingredients

  • 2 large apples
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • Optional: Vanilla icing or caramel sauce for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Peel, core, and slice apples into even fry-sized sticks.
  2. Set up three bowls: one with beaten egg, one with flour, and one with cinnamon mixed with sugar.
  3. Dip each apple slice first into flour, then egg, and finally into the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Lightly press the coating onto the apples.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (195°C).
  5. Arrange the apple fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  6. Cook for 6–8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through until fries are golden and crispy.
  7. Remove and serve warm. Optionally, drizzle with vanilla icing or dip in caramel sauce.

Notes

  • For extra sweetness, you can add more sugar to the cinnamon mixture.
  • Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer for the best results.
