Description

A sweet and salty toffee pretzel snack that’s easy to make and perfect for parties.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups mini pretzel twists
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Add mini pretzels to a large mixing bowl and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  4. Let the mixture come to a bubble and cook for 2 minutes without stirring.
  5. Remove from heat, then stir in vanilla and baking soda until combined.
  6. Immediately pour the toffee mixture over the pretzels and stir to coat evenly.
  7. Spread the coated pretzels in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to prevent clumps.
  9. Let cool completely, then break apart and store in an airtight container.
