Description

Delicious and fun chocolate cookie milk shots perfect for serving cold milk.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup (200g) brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups (375g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (175g) mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (175g) semi-sweet chocolate, melted (for lining)
  • Cold milk, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin or use a silicone shot glass mold.
  2. Prepare the Cookie Dough: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract. In another bowl, whisk the flour, baking soda, and salt together. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  3. Shape the Cookie Shots: Divide the dough into the muffin tin or mold, pressing the dough to form shot glass shapes. Ensure the walls are about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Bake: Place the cookie shots in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Remove and cool completely.
  5. Line with Chocolate: Once the cookie shots have cooled, carefully remove them from the molds. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate and use a brush to coat the inside of each cookie shot. This creates a watertight seal.
  6. Serve: Chill the chocolate-coated cookie shots until the chocolate sets. Pour cold milk into each cookie shot just before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure the cookie shots are completely cool before removing them from the molds to prevent breaking.
  • You can use dark or milk chocolate for a different flavor.
  • For a festive touch, decorate the rim with sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
