Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prep:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Dough:
    • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
    • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
    • In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
    • Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture until smooth.
  3. Shaping the Cookies:
    • Roll the dough into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
    • Spread the marshmallow fluff evenly over the dough.
    • Carefully roll the dough into a log, starting from one end to achieve the swirl effect.
    • Slice the log into 1/2-inch thick cookies and place them on the prepared baking sheets.
  4. Baking:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
