Description

Delicious crescent rolls filled with cinnamon and sugar, topped with a sweet glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 tube Pillsbury crescent rolls (unrolled and separated)
  • ¼ cup butter (softened)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (additional)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375º F.
  2. Place the unrolled and separated crescent rolls on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cardamom.
  4. Evenly spread the cinnamon butter over the crescent rolls and roll them tightly.
  5. Place the tip side down on the cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  6. While baking, make the glaze by mixing together the melted butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and almond extract until smooth.
  7. Use a spoon and drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls.
  8. Add a very light dusting of cinnamon over the top for a garnish (optional).
  9. Serve warm!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add chopped nuts to the filling.
  • These rolls are best served fresh out of the oven.
