Description

Delicious sautéed Brussels sprouts with garlic and balsamic vinegar.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts (trimmed and halved)
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Rinse and trim the Brussels sprouts, cutting them in half.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Place Brussels sprouts cut-side down in the skillet; cook undisturbed for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Add minced garlic and stir gently; cook for an additional 3 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, then add balsamic vinegar; stir well and simmer for another couple of minutes.
  6. Serve hot, optionally drizzling more balsamic vinegar on top.

Notes

  • Brussels sprouts can be garnished with additional balsamic vinegar for extra flavor.
