Description
A delicious and easy taco casserole that layers beef, cheese, and nacho cheese Doritos for a tasty meal!
Ingredients

- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1/2 White Onion (Diced)
- 2 tsp Minced Garlic
- 2 Tbsp Taco Seasoning
- 1 cup Salsa
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 2 cups Shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 Bag (10 oz) Nacho Cheese Doritos (crushed)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and spray a 9X13 pan with a non stick cooking spray.
- Brown the ground beef with the onion in a large skillet over medium high heat. Then drain off any excess grease.
- Add in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Then add in the Taco Seasoning and Salsa. Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the sour cream.
- Pour 1/2 of the meat mixture into the 9X13 pan, top with 1/3 (approximately 2/3 cups) of the shredded cheese and half of the crushed Doritos. Then repeat these layers again. You will have some shredded cheese remaining.
- Cover the pan with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil, top with the remaining shredded cheese and bake for 5-10 more minutes until the cheese is melted and slightly bubbly.
- Top with your favorite taco toppings and enjoy!
Notes
- This dish is perfect for potlucks and gatherings.
- Feel free to add additional toppings like olives, jalapeños, or guacamole.
