A delicious recipe for ground beef gravy, perfect for serving over mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 sweet onion, chopped
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook ground beef and onions in large fry pan over medium/high heat. Drain oil and return to pan.
- Add butter and allow it to melt, stir into beef. Sprinkle flour over the meat and stir to evenly coat. Cook for 3 minutes while stirring.
- Add broth, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper to gentle boil then reduce heat to medium. Cook and stir occasionally until gravy thickens (about 5 minutes).
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve over mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice.
Notes
- This recipe can be easily doubled for larger gatherings.
