Description

A delicious and creamy dip perfect for serving with tortilla chips, made with cream cheese, chili, and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 15 oz canned chili
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 tbsp sliced green onions
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced, optional
  • 1 bag tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a small baking dish or pie plate.
  2. Spread the softened cream cheese into an even layer across the bottom of the dish.
  3. Spoon the chili over the cream cheese and spread it gently into an even layer.
  4. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack cheese evenly over the top.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly and the cheese is fully melted.
  6. Remove from the oven and top with sliced green onions and jalapeño if using.
  7. Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

  • For a spicier dip, leave the seeds in the jalapeño.
  • This dip can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
