Description

A deliciously cheesy chicken and vegetable casserole that is easy to prepare and perfect for a family meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup cauliflower florets (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • Olive oil or butter, for greasing

Instructions

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with olive oil or butter to prevent sticking.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, and half of the shredded cheese.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt until well blended.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetable mixture, stirring until everything is evenly coated.
  6. Transfer the entire mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese on top of the casserole for a deliciously cheesy finish.
  8. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the casserole is set in the middle and the top is golden and bubbling.
  9. Once done, remove the casserole from the oven and allow it to cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
