  • 23 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Green and red food coloring
  • White chocolate stars or fondant stars
  • Edible pearls or sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a rectangular baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar and cocoa powder until well combined.
  3. Add in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the saucepan until just combined.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Allow to cool completely.
  7. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter until creamy.
  8. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing on low speed. Add vanilla extract and milk to achieve desired consistency.
  9. Divide frosting into two separate bowls. Add green food coloring to one and red food coloring to the other, mixing well.
  10. Once brownies have cooled, use a sharp knife to slice into triangle shapes resembling Christmas trees.
  11. Pipe the green and red frosting onto the brownies using a decorating bag with a star tip, creating a zigzag pattern to resemble tree branches.
  12. Add white chocolate or fondant stars on top of each tree and decorate with edible pearls or sprinkles as ornaments.
