Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a rectangular baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar and cocoa powder until well combined.
- Add in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the saucepan until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Allow to cool completely.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter until creamy.
- Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing on low speed. Add vanilla extract and milk to achieve desired consistency.
- Divide frosting into two separate bowls. Add green food coloring to one and red food coloring to the other, mixing well.
- Once brownies have cooled, use a sharp knife to slice into triangle shapes resembling Christmas trees.
- Pipe the green and red frosting onto the brownies using a decorating bag with a star tip, creating a zigzag pattern to resemble tree branches.
- Add white chocolate or fondant stars on top of each tree and decorate with edible pearls or sprinkles as ornaments.
