- ½ cup chocolate chips or dark chocolate, melted (for decorations)
- 36 small red candies (e.g., M&Ms) for noses
- 72 small black edible pearls or mini chocolate chips for eyes
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
- Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract until well combined.
- Combine Ingredients: Gradually blend in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Form Cookies: Roll dough into balls, about one tablespoon each, and place them 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Slightly flatten each ball of dough to form a round cookie base.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Decorate Cookies: Once the cookies have cooled, use a piping bag or a small plastic bag with the corner cut off to pipe chocolate as antlers and eyes. Gently press a red candy into each cookie for the reindeer’s nose.

- For a festive touch, sprinkle some edible glitter or colored sugar before the chocolate sets.
- If you prefer, you can use white chocolate for the antlers and eyes for a different look.
