Description

A delicious grilled swordfish recipe topped with a tangy mustard basil butter.


Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil
  • olive oil (for brushing the grill)
  • 4 (8-ounce) swordfish steaks (¾-inch thick)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh basil sprigs (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Mix the butter, Dijon, and fresh basil in a small bowl.
  2. Preheat the BBQ or broiler; brush the grill or broiler pan with olive oil.
  3. Season the fish with salt and pepper.
  4. Grill fish just until cooked through, about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
  5. Transfer the swordfish to plates and top each with a spoonful of the mustard basil butter.
  6. Garnish with basil sprigs.
