- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients by chopping broccoli into bite-size pieces and mincing garlic.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Sauté broccoli for 4-5 minutes until bright green.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add shrimp, seasoning with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook until shrimp turn pink and opaque (3-4 minutes).
- Lower heat; stir in butter and lemon juice until well combined.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra lemon if desired.
