Description

Succulent and flavorful baked chicken thighs marinated in a delicious ginger-garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in chicken thighs
  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels; season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  4. Place chicken in a resealable bag or shallow dish; pour half the marinade over the chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight).
  5. Arrange chicken skin-side up in the baking dish and bake for 35-40 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Pour remaining marinade over the chicken and broil for an additional 3-4 minutes until caramelized.
