Delicious homemade biscuits layered with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar (for strawberries)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar (for cake)
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Prepare strawberries by tossing them with 2 tablespoons of sugar; pat into a rectangle about an inch thick and cut into rounds using a biscuit cutter.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before slicing horizontally.
- Layer strawberries and whipped cream between the biscuit halves; drizzle with remaining strawberry juices.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh strawberries.
- Feel free to add a bit of vanilla extract to the whipped cream for added flavor.
