Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup sourdough starter discard
- 1/4 cup whole milk Greek yogurt
- 3 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter (melted) for brushing
Instructions
- Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda in a large bowl.
- Stir in sourdough starter discard, Greek yogurt, water, and olive oil until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 2-3 minutes until well combined.
- Divide dough into 8 equal pieces and shape into discs. Let rest for 10 minutes.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over high heat.
- Roll each disc into a 1/4-inch thick round.
- Add naan to the hot skillet, cooking for 1-2 minutes per side until browned and puffed.
- Brush cooked naan with melted butter and cover to keep warm.
Notes
- For best results, allow the dough to rest longer for more flavor development.
